The Archbishops have today (Tuesday 17th March) suspended all public worship across the Church of England – this is both heartbreaking and very much the right thing to do. This means that until further notice, there won’t be any services at St Chad’s. However, our prayer lives don’t stop – we will be continuing to pray for our community, for each other and for all those who are struggling at this time. I plan to pray Morning Prayer at 9am each morning and will ring the bell as a sign that prayers are being said – if you hear the bell, perhaps you might pause in prayer for a moment. We will also be posting prayers, links to online resources and perhaps even exploring how we might ‘broadcast’ something over the coming days and weeks. If you need to chat, or would like someone to pray for you over the phone, please leave a message on the Parish Office phone – 0121 238 3168
